Alan Weiss - Aussie Divorce

30th March, 2020

Alan Weiss developed after he experienced himself how devastating divorce proceedings can be. I witnessed firsthand my own future security, and that of my familys, being destroyed by acrimonious and costly divorce litigation. I created to help people avoid an experience like this and lose thousands of dollars. Instead the system will assist them in getting on with their lives.

Dealing with anxiety and relationship breakdown

No matter how badly you want to get divorced, you will experience some anxiety once all is said and done. Even a rocky marriage offers some degree of stability and all of that goes once you and your hubby part ways. You want to learn how to deal with this quickly so that you can get on with rebuilding your life.

Breathe, Breathe and Breathe Some More

You might want to thump the next person who offers you this advice, however, it is the best advice you can get. When you feel overwhelmed and your chest starts to tighten up, slow down and breathe. Take long and slow breathes and you will gradually start to feel better. The good news is that you can do this anywhere and anytime.

Write Down Your Feelings And Keep Them to Yourself

You might get the urge to pick up the phone and blast your ex, this is not a good strategy. It is far better to document your feelings and keep them hidden away. You can write down all your feelings and no one will be the wiser. You can document your anxieties without having to spill your guts to an outsider. Writing your thoughts down immediately after the divorce is the safest way to go. You can always converse with friends and family members once the dust has settled.

Watch Who You Talk To

You will need to talk to someone as you will have lots on your mind and heart. Stay away from your soon-to-be- ex-husband. He is no longer your best friend and will use anything you say against you. Find someone who you can trust with your life and share your feelings with him or her. Talk as much as you need to as this will help you gain some perspective and get rid of unwanted baggage.

Exercise Your Anger Away

You are more than likely going to be angry during this time. Exercise is a great vehicle to get rid of your anger and frustrations. You don’t need to commit to climbing Mount Everest, put on some comfortable footwear and go for a walk. Walking on your own will help you to gather your thoughts and walking with someone offers you an opportunity to talk. Either way, you will burn some of that anger and release some feel-good hormones which will do you the world of good.

Grab Some Vitamin E

Get some sunlight, it’s free and a great source of vitamin E. You will enjoy the fresh air and the warmth the sun provides. You can walk, meditate, jog or just sit in the park. nothing like Mother Nature to provide you will a little TLC. If you prefer the night time, do a bit of stargazing, anything to take your mind off of the stress involved in a messy divorce.

Know Any Good Authors?

I love reading and find absorbing myself into a good book as the ultimate stress reliever. I love reading in the bath as no one can bother me and I am totally oblivious to the world and its problems. Reading good books will keep your mind focused on you and not on your ex.

Snuggle Up

If you have kids or pets, grab them and a quick snuggle. There is nothing like the warmth of child or pet to give you huge doses of comfort. Both children and pets love you unconditionally and perhaps that is what you need right about now.
