The case assessment is provided through a solicitor with a current practicing certificate who is required to have professional indemnity insurance and comply with the professional conduct and practice rules.  The solicitor will brief a barrister to carry out your case assessment.  The barrister will be from a panel of selected barristers who have a minimum of 5 years experience in family law litigation and a demonstrated ability to make competent assessments of property settlement entitlements.
